Senior Accountant

LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a growing manufacturing organization is seeking a Financial Accountant with strong general ledger experience to support month-end and year-end close processes. This role focuses heavily on the trial balance, reconciliations, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate has 5–10 years of accounting experience and is comfortable working in a hybrid environment.

Financial Accountant (Hybrid – Dayton, NJ)

Temp-to-Perm | $40–$45/hr.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the general ledger and trial balance
• Prepare and perform monthly and quarterly account reconciliations
• Support quarterly close activities and ensure accuracy of financial statements
• Assist with year-end close and audit preparation
• Analyze financial data and provide insights into variances
• Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and external regulations
• Utilize SAP S/4
  
  HANA for financial reporting and data management
• Collaborate with cross functional partners to resolve discrepancies and improve processes

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of Financial Accounting and trial balance structure
• Experience with SAP S/4
  
  HANA required
• Proficiency in reconciliations and close processes
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a structured environment
• Manufacturing experience not required
