Retail Assistant Store Manager - 2242 are currently looking for the right Retail Assistant Store Manager to join our Team.
Pay range: $13.50 to $18.50 per hour
. We offer an easily achievable commission structure that pays you for every transaction you process. Our retail sales associates can earn up to 8% on transactions, which could average an additional $4.05 per hour on top of your hourly rate.

- Working hours typically 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM; many stores are closed on Sundays.

We are seeking an Assistant Store Manager with a minimum of six months of management/3rd key experience. This role partners with the Store Manager to lead and develop store employees, recruit and retain talent, maximize financial goals, and manage customer relations and satisfaction. The position analyzes store financial statements and participates in asset protection, store operations, and customer acquisition efforts. The Assistant Store Manager earns a base hourly wage plus commission based on productivity and a bonus based on store performance.
Pay is determined by location, qualifications, and experience.
- Facilitate a customer-centric environment and address customer issues promptly.
- Assist in training Pawnbrokers to meet First Cash standards.
- Recruit top talent through prescribed channels.
- Open/close the store, manage cash drawers and inventory, and protect assets.
- Manage asset protection through inventory control and loan documentation.
- Administer store processes including inventory, loan management, merchandising, and reporting.
- Analyze financial statements and drive profitability through goals.
- Ensure operating standards meet First Cash standards.
- Monitor loan qualification and buying processes for value and integrity.
- Complete assigned tasks and training for self-development.
- Communicate store mission and profit objectives clearly to employees.
- Maintain up-to-date product knowledge.
- Act as manager on duty in the absence of the Store Manager.
- Other related duties as assigned.
- Ability to perform duties for extended periods, including standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise others.
- Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified.
- Minimum Age: 18;
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience. - Willing to work at multiple locations as needed; flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays; 40+ hours per week.
- Computer literate and able to operate POS systems and office machines; strong multi-tasking and organizational skills.
- Cash handling experience; ability to work independently with minimal supervision; excellent work ethic and business sense.

Commission Plan InformationThe employee commission incentive plan is proprietary to First Cash. Assistant Store Managers have the potential to earn 2-8% commission based on gross profit of personal performance; details are provided during the interview process.
