Pay: $32.78 /hour

As a PM Electro Mechanic, you will be responsible for monitoring plant equipment and facilities and correcting various electrical and mechanical problems as needed while ensuring maximum operational goals are obtained.

• Inspect, clean, lubricate, replace and adjust equipment components on a scheduled basis.
• Repair, modify, and overhaul equipment components on a scheduled basis.
• Make documented reports of conditions found and actions taken and recommend improvements.
• Maintain skill levels in industrial maintenance techniques to keep pace with changing technology by continuing education in such areas to meet the needs of the plant.
• May be required to work during plant shutdown periods.
• Repair and/or replace faulty plant electronic equipment.
• Responsible to comply with SQF and GMP practices and programs to ensure safe food packaging and report food safety problems to those with authority to take action.
• Knowledge of servos, analog, and servo control systems.
• Knowledge of communications including Control Net, Device Net, Ethernet.

• A diploma in a related industrial electronics field or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of maintenance techniques for electrical and mechanical systems, such as instrumentation, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment, power transmission devices, bearings and seals, motors, electrical power and control circuits, electronic components and systems, such as DC and variable AC drive controllers, programmable controllers, and other solid‑state equipment.
• The skills and knowledge to safely use shop equipment, powered and non‑powered hand tools, and electrical and electronic test instruments.
• Demonstrated ability to work with others in a team environment.
• Other job duties and functions as assigned by supervisor.

• Knowledge of robotics and automation.
• Understanding of programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
• Good computer skills.
