Construction Site Quality Specialist

Job Title: Construction Site Quality Specialist.

Location: South Boston, VA.

• This will be a part-time opportunity for Spring hours, with the potential to transition to full-time in the summer. Candidates will be responsible for driving a company vehicle or company rental vehicle.
• Please ensure commitment to the driving requirements and team dynamic, as we are seeking strong team players and individuals dedicated to the position, willing to grow and develop with the team. We are looking for candidates willing to go the extra mile for support.

Per Diem is not eligible for this role; we are seeking local candidates only.

• Working knowledge of power generation and pollution control equipment.
• General knowledge of construction and operational field work practices, equipment utilization, and work component scheduling.
• Skilled in problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Skilled in comparing construction specifications and material requirements to physical and material work products.
• Skilled in reading and interpreting manuals, technical instructions, and drawings, with an ability to accurately prepare brief written reports.
• Demonstrates skill in planning, organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work to meet construction deadlines.
• Skilled in the use of personal computers and Microsoft software (Word, Excel, Lotus Notes).
• Ability to work effectively with management and co-workers and to make effective decisions.
• Familiarity with OSHA scaffolding requirements and industry safety practices.

• Minimum HS Diploma Required.
