Class A Truck Driver

1st Shift Position—Monday to Friday.

• Deliver finished products to customers.
• Drop off material for outside processing and pick up processed material.
• Load and unload material from the truck using a forklift.
• Assist with packaging material when necessary.
• Ensure loads are properly packaged and secured to prevent damage.
• Follow all trucking regulations and laws.
• Maintain the truck.
• Fill out daily vehicle checklists.
• Operate a forklift.
• Drive safely.

• 1–3 years of relevant experience.
• A valid Class A driver’s license.
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).

• Excellent driving skills.
• Ability to drive and operate a large truck.
• Ability to work from written specifications and verbal instructions.
• Maintains a good attendance record.
• Overtime and weekend work may be required.
• Effective teamwork and communication skills.
• Continuous process improvement orientation.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Pass pre-employment background and drug screening.

• Speak, hear, and interpret sounds and speech.
• Must be able to sit, stand, and walk up to 8 hours a day; occasional 8+ hour shifts.
• May need to stoop, kneel, or crouch for less than 8 hours.
• Carry up to 50 pounds.
• Occasional exposure to loud noises.
• Drive and sit in a vehicle for 8+ hours.
• Regional day travel required.
