Description
Responsible for performing routine maintenance. Completes basic and major preventative and corrective maintenance and troubleshoots minor equipment maintenance problems involving electrical, plumbing, and equipment repair or replacement. Assists on projects assigned to the department, administrates cosmetic repairs to the facility finishes, and assists in all areas of facilities maintenance as directed.

Assists on projects assigned to the department, administrates cosmetic repairs to the facility finishes, and assists in all areas of facilities maintenance as directed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESAssist with training and onboarding of existing and new staff. Performs basic and major maintenance and or repairs of facilities equipment as directed, including HVACR. Makes recommendations for process improvements. Responsible for assisting in all areas of facilities maintenance including but not limited to:
- Routine inspections of all lighting throughout the property, identifying and resolving potential problems.
- Responds to maintenance requests and in-house calls in designated time frame.
- Maintains pool facilities (if they exist at the property) as assigned.
- Works independently and advises supervisor of additional assistance needed.
- Maintains a neat, clean, and organized work area in the engineering shop.
- Prepares daily work forms.
- Maintains a working knowledge and understanding of all rules, regulations and controls.
- Adheres to safety policies and procedures and OSHA regulations.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEHigh school diploma or general education degree (G.E.D.) preferred. Must have working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, air conditioning maintenance, Rational Combination Ovens, Ice Machines, and Chiller Plants. Prefer 2-5 years’ experience with a significant combination of vocational education, apprentice training, or on-the-job training.
HVACR Certification, EPA I & II or Universal license, Certified Pool Operator preferred.
SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONSMust have a valid driver’s license and maintain a good driving record.
Applicant must successfully complete a physical abilities test for essential functions of this job, including a color blindness test to distinguish color.
This position requires a Level 4 Gaming License.
