Overview
Position Summary Responsible for soliciting, developing and funding loans to new and existing Specialty Finance Group (SFG) clients.
Essential responsibilities and requirements are described below.
Responsibilities- Actively solicit and develop new customer relationships in assigned market areas.
- Manage ongoing sales relationships, funding, boarding loans, and other ongoing client services and administration.
- Drive and manage portfolio growth, depository targets, and credit quality of existing accounts to ensure departmental targets and goals are achieved by collaborating with Value Stream Team members.
- Work with Deposit Officer, Credit, Loan Operations, and Accounting teams in establishing new client relationships and servicing existing clients.
- Address individual needs of SFG clients seeking loans, evaluate the financial condition of the client, the value of pledged collateral, and the client’s management effectiveness and competency.
- Identify opportunities and promote cross-selling by engaging other areas of the bank (Deposit, SBA, WAS, Insurance, etc.) to deepen the relationship.
- Develop, maintain, and execute the Pipeline Report and follow up on all prospective clients.
- Actively utilize InSight (Salesforce) system by populating new client leads, referrals, opportunities, and maintaining daily follow-up on all tasks for prospective and existing clients.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Complete all compliance training related to the position.
- Understand and comply with all applicable laws and regulations that apply to the position.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
Experience/Skills- Two (2) to three (3) years’ experience in a related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
- Prior experience in commercial equipment finance (e.g., auto, aviation or heavy equipment) preferred.
- Proven track record of new business generation.
- Good PC skills—proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel essential.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Well-developed verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Certified Lease & Finance Professional (CLFP) certification preferred.
Travel RequirementsAbility to travel frequently to off-site locations for customer visits, prospecting, inspections, auctions, meetings, projects, seminars, etc., as well as ability to travel overnight.
