Overview

Store Sales Associate at Citi Trends. Citi Trends is looking for a dedicated Store Sales Associate to join our team at one of the largest chains in the value-priced urban apparel industry.

• Processing freight
• Assisting with price changes/markdowns
• Balance his/her register according to company policy
• Call out prices for customers when ringing a register transaction
• Bag merchandise efficiently during a customer transaction
• Handle cash, checks and credit cards correctly and per company policy
• Obtain management approval when needed for returns, voids and checks
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping duties as assigned
• Provide proper customer service: greet customers, abide by fitting room policies, ring customers in a timely fashion, thank customers and invite them to return
• Follow all safety procedures
• Maintain a professional, neat appearance, including wearing a name tag
• Assist management in merchandising the sales floor according to stock levels
• Assist management with tasks per company policy
• Explain exchange/refund policies to customers after transactions
• Support Store Manager with Loss Prevention procedures, including preventing shoplifting and cash losses, reporting incidents of theft, and following current operational policies

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages)
