- Call Requirements: 2-3 overnight shifts per week, every 3rd weekend, holiday rotation
- Weekend Requirement:
Weekend call rotation - There will never be more than one patient per case. In open heart (CVOR) cases there are typically 2 circulating RN s and 2 additional team members, either CST or RN who scrub the case. In surgeries of other specialties, there may be 1 RN and 1-3 scrub people depending on the specific case.
- Traditional RN-to-patient ratios used in inpatient nursing are not applied in surgery
- Years of experience REQ: 2 YEARS
- First-timers accepted: YES
- Weekend REQ:
Depends per contract - Certs REQ: ACLS, BCLS
