Confidential Opportunity | Manufacturing Operations

We are seeking a hands-on Plant Manager to lead production and warehouse operations for a growing manufacturing business. This role oversees a small, multi-shift team and is responsible for building structure, consistency, and capability across safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

This is an ideal role for a strong operational leader who enjoys solving problems, developing people, and building systems in a fast-moving, resource-lean environment.

What You’ll Do
  • Own daily, weekly, and monthly performance across safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity
  • Establish disciplined production planning, scheduling, and inventory management processes
  • Execute and sustain Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001 or similar)
  • Implement KPIs, visual management, and daily management routines
  • Drive continuous improvement in productivity, scrap reduction, uptime, and labor efficiency
  • Build and enforce standard work; reduce reliance on tribal knowledge
  • Train, coach, and develop a small production team (currently ~7 employees)
  • Develop future leaders and support onboarding and development of new roles
  • Partner closely with site leadership to align operational execution with business priorities
What We’re Looking For

7–10+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing
, with increasing leadership responsibility

Proven experience leading production teams in small to mid-sized operations

Experience in continuous-process manufacturing preferred

Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on troubleshooting capability

Proven experience with:

  • Production planning & capacity management
  • Inventory Control and accuracy
  • Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001 or similar)
  • KPI tracking, reporting, and operational metrics
  • Training, cross-training, and team development

Highly organized, proactive, and solutions-oriented

Strong people leadership, communication skills, and decision-making skills

Positive, steady leadership style—especially during challenging periods
