Data Center Technician

Position Overview

As a Data Center Technician, you will support server rack power‑up operations within data center environments. This role is ideal for individuals with basic to intermediate electrical skills and a general understanding of electrical systems and operations. You will be expected to work independently when appropriate while also following detailed instructions and established procedures.

• Support server rack power‑up operations across one or more data center locations
• Follow all safety standards and procedures while performing work
• Adapt to changing schedules based on site needs, including nights and weekends
• Work shifts of up to 12 hours, which may rotate on a predefined schedule
• Support multiple sites as required

• Walk job sites with uneven terrain and maintain balance while performing tasks
• Perform work on ladders and stairs
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 39 pounds unassisted; participate in team lifts for items over 40 pounds
• Regularly perform physical activities including walking, standing, reaching, bending, twisting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and working above shoulder height
• Use hands and fingers to handle tools, equipment, and materials

• 1+ year of electrical experience

• Technical training (Military or Trade School)
• Experience or education in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline

• Contract position based out of South Bend, IN

• Pay range: $23.00 - $24.00/hr
