Temporary Project Assembly Associate

Role Description

XPDEL is seeking a Temporary Project Assembly Associate (TPAA) to join our team. This position works on the warehouse floor, assembling Storm Doors into a Frame for shipment, and will include kitting/labeling. You will be essential in preparing items for delivery, while keeping the warehouse clean and safe (placing corrugated cardboard into receptacles). The ideal candidate has experience working in cold and hot environments during different seasons and must work safely and quickly, standing for long periods while assembling heavy items as part of a two-person team.

Key Result Areas

  • Assemble items as part of a two-person team, working together to fulfill your daily quota.
  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, completing all safety training and assessments.
  • Conduct quality control inspections of products.
  • Kitting/Labeling of products as the project reaches completion.

    • Skills and Qualifications

  • Detail-oriented, reliable, organized, forward-thinking, proactive, and approachable.
  • Comfortable using hand-held power tools safely (cordless drills and screwdrivers).
  • A high school diploma or GED is preferred but not required.
  • Overtime may be required based on business needs.
  • Able to stand, walk, stoop, bend, and lift up to 70 pounds (doors will weigh approximately 130 pounds once fully assembled).
