Schedule:

Full time 2nd shift, Wednesday‑Sunday 4 pm – 10 pm/12 am

Pay rate: $18/hour

The Spirit of the Position:

The 2nd shift Supervisor will oversee the facilities of the garage and/or surface lots and ensure preservation of the location.

What does a day in the life of a LAZ Supervisor look like?
  • Ensures staff adheres to rules of conduct, policies and procedures.
  • Assist in establishing performance standards, recommending and implementing changes to procedures when necessary.
  • Responsible for running any reports related to daily revenue, credit cards, garage data or other reports requested by management.
  • Assists with periodic training as needed.
  • Greet by/use name, be responsive and timely with correspondence and problem resolution, and display a caring attitude, develop a rapport with the company.
Principal

Job Duties:

  • Assist with the management and development of the location(s) team to accomplish annual and periodic goals/initiatives, while embodying and using LAZ Parking’s culture as a guideline.
  • Responsible for completion of daily tasks at assigned location in the absence of an assigned frontline employee(s) or on a regular basis to fill a shift.
  • Responsible for developing client relationships and business retention.
  • Daily, Weekly, Monthly, and Annual operational reports as required.
  • Implement and complete other projects, programs, and initiatives that may arise from the operation of assigned location.
  • Communicate with local police department and emergency management teams related to claims and daily operation.
  • Assist with the monitoring, review, and analysis of the market rate structures.
  • Implementation and completion of other projects, programs, and initiatives that may arise from assigned location.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
What would we like you to bring to the team?
  • Supervisor experience is required.
  • Strong customer service experience.
  • Some lead experience is a plus.
  • Cash handling experience is preferred but not required.
  • Parking industry experience is preferred but not required.

Physical Demands:
  • Willingness to work in the elements – heat, wind, snow, rain, etc.
  • Ability to lift, push and pull at least 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand, walk and run for extended periods of time.
  • Ability bend, stoop, squat and lift frequently throughout a shift.
