✨Join a group of passionate advocates on our mission to improve the lives of youth! Rite of Passage Team is hiring for a Shift Supervisor at Woodford Home in Mishawaka, Indiana. Woodford Home is located on 27th Street off Mishawaka Ave. in South Bend, Indiana. It is situated close to public transportation, a public library and a public university. The Woodford Home serves male youth with a history of delinquent behaviors, mild mental health issues, abuse, neglect and trauma needs who are transitioning back to the community from a residential placement.

Woodford Home is licensed by the Indiana Department of Child Services as a Child Caring Institution (CCI) serving up to 12 male youth between the ages of 14-21. The Woodford Home provides a safe therapeutic home for young men returning to the community from a residential placement. It is operated by Rite of Passage, Inc.

Pay: $55k - $60k (depending on education and experience)

As a Shift Supervisor, you will play a key leadership role in overseeing the daily operations of Group Living to ensure a safe, structured, and supportive environment for youth. Under the supervision of the Program Manager, you will be responsible for supervising staff, maintaining program compliance, and ensuring that all policies and procedures are followed.

• Supervising Direct Care Staff to ensure consistency in implementing the Positive Operational Culture and other behavioral management programs.
• Overseeing daily operations of residential units, including staff scheduling, crisis intervention, and incident reporting.
• Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local licensing requirements, as well as ROP policies and procedures.
• Providing leadership, coaching, and professional development for staff to enhance team performance and effectiveness.
• Monitoring and evaluating program effectiveness, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing necessary changes.
• Responding to and managing crisis situations, ensuring the safety and well-being of all individuals involved.
• Maintaining clear and accurate documentation of incidents, staff performance, and program operations.

• 3 to 5 years of experience in a residential treatment facility setting (related or equivalent experience may be considered with approval).
• Working knowledge of the Positive Operational Culture Behavior modification program.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple individuals and projects.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test.
