Behavior Technician/RBT, ABA Therapist
Overview
Gain rewarding experience with Behavior Analysis Center for Autism (BACA) — part of LEARN Behavioral. With one in 36 children diagnosed with autism, this entry-level job is in big demand. As a Behavior Technician at BACA, you’ll help children with autism learn, grow, and build communication, socialization, and self-help skills through applied behavior analysis (ABA). We are currently hiring full-time Behavior Technicians in the area.
ResponsibilitiesWorking with kids aged 2-18 with autism and special needs in one of our centers. Become eligible to earn RBT certification. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:15 a.m.–4:45 p.m. Earn starting pay at $17/hr and up with experience. Potential to be promoted after learning the ropes of ABA (growth opportunities and professional development).
Qualifications- High School Diploma/GED required
- Reliable transportation; valid driver’s license and personal vehicle preferred
- Minimum age 18 (on or before first day of employment); eligibility to work in the United States
- Ability to pass a background check
- Availability to work a consistent weekly schedule mornings, afternoons, and/or evenings
- Bi-lingual English/Spanish a plus
- Experience working with children (babysitter, nanny, tutor, teacher, coach, camp counselor, childcare, etc.) preferred
- Interest in training and skills to support a career in behavior analysis, behavioral health, teaching, occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, counseling, mental health, and related fields
- Full-time: up to 15 days of paid time off (PTO) after 90 days
- Part-time: sick leave eligibility

Working with kids, you may engage in activities that require physical effort, including push/pull and lifting up to 35 pounds. You may need to sit on the floor, stoop, stand, walk, and run as needed by client assignments. BACA is part of LEARN Behavioral, a group of ABA providers dedicated to delivering collaborative care and supporting children with autism and special needs across the country.
