Behavior Technician
LOGAN Community Resources is a non‑profit organization dedicated to supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families in Michiana. The Behavior Technician works directly with individuals who have Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), implementing instructional and behavioral intervention programs under the guidance of a Program Manager or Assistant Program Manager.

- Implement 1:1 instructional and behavioral intervention programs following the ABA treatment plan.
- Participate in all required training activities (ABA principles, discrete trial teaching, behavior management, data collection).
- Observe and record client behavior, progress, and outcomes for billing purposes.
- Assist with client arrival and departure and maintain accurate daily documentation.
- Attend meetings regarding client ABA programs and participate in parent meetings as directed.
- Communicate regularly with supervisory staff and uphold client confidentiality.
- Represent LOGAN positively in the community and maintain a cooperative relationship with all staff.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Ability to interact well with children and follow ABA programs designed by supervising BCBA.
- Strong communication skills and capacity to work independently and as part of a therapy team.
- Reliable transportation.
- Commitment to maintaining cultural competency and a professional relationship with clients and families.
- Completion of training necessary to become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). Credentialing as an RBT is ideal but can be achieved through training and supervision on the job.
- Ability to sit at a child‑height table.
- Ability to kneel, bend, and reach.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Credentialing as a Registered Behavior Technician is ideal; however, LOGAN provides training and supervision so the certification can be obtained after beginning the position.

SalaryUSD 15.00 – 18.20 per hour.
