Job SummaryResponsible for driving census and quality mix in assigned Centers, meeting budget expectations through strategic marketing, generating quality referrals, and building key relationships with hospitals, physicians, and community partners.

ResidentsRights
- Knows and respects resident rights
- Ensures protected health information is kept confidential
- Reports complaints made by residents to supervisor
- Reports any allegations of resident neglect, abuse and/or misappropriation of resident property
- Follows established safety procedures
- Wears and/or uses safety equipment and supplies when indicated and properly trained to use
- Demonstrates job‑specific knowledge of fire and disaster preparedness during drills or actual situations
- Attends and participates in scheduled in‑service training, educational classes and meetings to maintain current as applicable
- Generate appropriate referrals through daily account presence
- Timely review and acceptance of referrals based on clinical grid and contract admission guide
- Meet growth and development targets and actively establish and maintain market acceptance rates
- Marketing with patient care team is encouraged. Build the team to be used as a selling point
- Maintain standards of high‑quality customer service and show respect to all customers, both internal and external
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with key physicians, nursing home administrators, DON’s hospital personnel, etc.
- Continuously conduct market assessments and develop a comprehensive marketing plan designed to meet budgetary projections
- Employ marketing and promotional initiatives as directed
- Monitor and report cost‑effectiveness of marketing efforts
- Provide educational in‑services to accounts on a regular basis. Become a resource for the customer and the community
- Effectively implement a territory management system. Strategically re‑assess the territory on an on‑going basis and adjust plans and actions accordingly
- Identify opportunities for additional or improved services to address unmet customer needs
- Convey information regarding referral sources and how they want to be communicated with to the team
- Admissions should always be appropriate for skilled nursing care, and informed consent must be obtained
- Utilization of CRM per company expectations
- Participate in evening/weekend call for admissions as required, in a competent and responsive manner
- Assure compliance with local, state, and federal laws, Medicare regulations, and established personnel policies and procedures.
- Performs any miscellaneous work assignments as may be required.
- Bachelor’s Degree of Business Administration or nursing, or equivalent experience and knowledge preferred
- Must have active LPN license in IN
- Good communication, negotiation and public relation skills
- Three (3) or more years of professional sales experience, preferably in the health care industry
- Demonstrate history of positive sales results
- Ability to market and deal tactfully with customers, referral sources and the community
- Valid driver’s license with maintenance of good driving record and an automobile that is insured in accordance with state
- Self‑directed with the ability to work with little supervision
- Must be computer literate (MS Office/Excel); compliance with accepted professional standards and practices
- Frequent movement, walking for extended periods and exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects including the human body
- Primarily inside with well‑lighted and well‑ventilated areas
