POSITION SUMMARY
Ensures bank policies and procedures, and regulations are adhered to for proper documentation and perfection of the bank's lien prior to funding. Leads the department in LEAN initiatives and job knowledge.
Works closely with the sales staff and internal departments to document or board all business banking loan closings per the bank’s policies and procedures and federal regulations.
Subject matter expert for commercial loans, including for complex transactions and specialty products.
Performs due diligence as required on specified loans.
Verifies the accuracy and completeness of loan documentation and loan applications.
Makes recommendations for procedural changes to increase efficiency and minimize waste.
Leads department projects and facilitates LEAN events.
Responsible for the completion of all compliance training related to the position.
Understands all applicable laws and regulations that apply to the position and complies with the requirements.

Experience / SkillsAt least three (3) years commercial or consumer loan experience.
Ability to handle stressful situations with calmness and courtesy.
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Maintain good records and file management skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and frequent interruptions.
EDUCATION
High School Diploma/GED required.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Minimal or occasional travel as needed for meetings, projects, training, etc.
PHYSICAL
Typical office environment, which includes sitting, standing, computer use, lifting up to ten pounds, using office equipment, speaking on a phone and serving customers.
EQUIPMENT
MS Office PC, fax, phone and standard office equipment.
