Summary

Responsible for promoting the success of the player’s club by assisting guests through all facets of the membership process, promotional gift distribution/preparation, and seating of guests for ticketed functions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Enroll new guests in the player’s club.
  • Execute casino gift events.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of the player’s club to explain it to guests.
  • Prepare promotional gift product by counting, unboxing, and sometimes palletizing.
  • Transport promotional product from pre-event storage to event locations using a pallet jack.
  • Verify guest identification for promotional event eligibility.
  • Redeem promotional gift coupons through database gaming software and identify promotional drawing winners.
  • Distribute complimentary event tickets to casino customers at specified casino locations.
  • Use ticket scanner equipment to verify individual event tickets brought by patrons.
  • Seat patrons in designated locations based on individual tickets; possess good knowledge of event seating layout.
  • Assist on other marketing events such as invited player parties, slot tournaments, and bingo.
  • Inspect and re-stock player’s club printed material.
  • Issue compliments for guests when appropriate level of play is established.
  • Assist in preparing necessary materials for guests arriving via scheduled bus line runs and charter buses.
  • Greets guests arriving via scheduled buses and chartered trips.
  • Provide smooth and efficient service to guests.
  • Resolve minor guest conflicts.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of casino facilities and upcoming special events to advise guests and employees.
  • Facilitate information flow by attending scheduled departmental meetings.
  • Ensure maximum level of guest service and satisfaction is achieved and maintained.
  • Must be detail oriented and manage multiple tasks.
Qualifications

Education & Experience: High school diploma or GED preferred. One year of related experience preferred.

Special

Qualifications:

Excellent communication skills, computer literate (Microsoft Word, Excel, and marketing programs), detail oriented, well organized, able to work under stressful conditions and coordinate multiple projects. Must be trained on operation of an electric pallet jack for certification.

Licensing: Level 4 Gaming License required.

Screening: Applicant must successfully complete screening for essential job functions.

Physical Demands

Employee must regularly stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls. Reach with hands and arms, sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Frequently lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds. Vision: close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception and adjustable focus.
