• Manage and perform month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules in accordance with GAAP.
• Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts.
• Review and analyze general ledger activity to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Assist with budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Support internal and external audit requests and help maintain internal controls.
• Mentor junior accounting staff and assist in workflow management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA or pursuing CPA preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in manufacturing, distribution, or corporate accounting.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (Quick Books, Net Suite, SAP, or similar).
• Thorough understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
• High attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Professional communication and ability to collaborate across departments.
Location: South Bend, IN (Eastern Time Zone)
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday
Compensation: $75,000–$90,000 annually
