Test Technician II

Join the Collins Aerospace Mission Systems team as a Test Technician II in Fairfield, CA. Under the direction of the Test Operations Supervisor, you will conduct both destructive and non‑destructive testing on energetic devices to ensure they meet our customers' stringent specifications.

• Set up and perform testing under the guidance of a senior technician.
• Measure product performance and collect data.
• Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot testing equipment.
• Support failure investigations and developmental testing as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or 2‑year post‑secondary degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• U.S. citizen or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations.
• Ability to obtain and maintain ATF access.

• Experience with ordnance products and test instrumentation/electronics.
• Ability to read, understand, and redline testing procedures.
• Proficiency in preparing data sheets and using formulas in Excel and other software.
• Strong mechanical skills with knowledge of hand tools and measurement devices.
• Familiarity with power supplies, oscilloscopes, and multimeters.
• Knowledge of electronics, instrumentation, and ability to read schematics and technical drawings.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
