Serres Corporation is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Full-Time Office Assistant to support daily administrative, accounting, and payroll functions. This role is ideal for a highly organized professional with strong data entry and bookkeeping skills, proficiency in Quick Books and Microsoft Office, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced office environment. Experience in construction or heavy job operations is a plus.
Key Responsibilities- Provide daily administrative and office support
- Perform Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions accurately and timely
- Prepare invoices, post payments, and follow up on outstanding receivables
- Assist with payroll processing, including time entry, payroll data entry, and reports
- Complete routine and detailed data entry with a high level of accuracy
- Reconcile accounts and assist with basic financial reporting
- Maintain organized filing systems and documentation
- Communicate with vendors, contractors, and internal staff
Support management with scheduling, reporting, and general office tasks - Daily Office tasks such as answering phones etc
Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience in an office assistant, administrative, or bookkeeping role
- Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Experience with payroll and data entry
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in construction, heavy job, or contracting environments
- Familiarity with job costing, purchase orders, or construction payroll
- Ability to adapt quickly to company systems and processes
- Full-time, office-based position
