Serres Corporation is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Full-Time Office Assistant to support daily administrative, accounting, and payroll functions. This role is ideal for a highly organized professional with strong data entry and bookkeeping skills, proficiency in Quick Books and Microsoft Office, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced office environment. Experience in construction or heavy job operations is a plus.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide daily administrative and office support
  • Perform Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions accurately and timely
  • Prepare invoices, post payments, and follow up on outstanding receivables
  • Assist with payroll processing, including time entry, payroll data entry, and reports
  • Complete routine and detailed data entry with a high level of accuracy
  • Reconcile accounts and assist with basic financial reporting
  • Maintain organized filing systems and documentation
  • Communicate with vendors, contractors, and internal staff

    Support management with scheduling, reporting, and general office tasks
  • Daily Office tasks such as answering phones etc
Required

Skills & Qualifications
  • Previous experience in an office assistant, administrative, or bookkeeping role
  • Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
  • Experience with payroll and data entry
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred / Plus Qualifications
  • Experience in construction, heavy job, or contracting environments
  • Familiarity with job costing, purchase orders, or construction payroll
  • Ability to adapt quickly to company systems and processes
