RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a truly board eligible or board-certified inpatient adult psychiatrist to join Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Somerset in Somerville, NJ. This full-time physician will join the Department of Psychiatry at RWJUH Somerset, a facility that provides state-of-the-art medical treatment across a broad spectrum of different disciplines. We are seeking driven physicians to join an inpatient program for adults and older adults diagnosed with psychiatric and dual disorders where they will manage medications, treatment teams, and provide the standard of care treatment in an acute care setting.

Successful candidates must be:
- ABPN board-certified or board-eligible in Adult Psychiatry
- NJ licensed or eligible for licensure in NJ
- Ideally experienced working in an inpatient setting
- High energy, adaptable, and able to work on a team
We are open to new graduates as well as experienced physicians! Please note that current trainees can earn up to $24,000 with the residency stipend program if they choose to join RWJBH during the final year of residency!
NJ Pay-Transparency:
The anticipated salary range for this position if hired to work is $315,000 to $475,000 per year.
The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidates educational background, skills, and professional experience.
