With supervision, this position is responsible for analyzing competitive insights within the Global Business Insights Center of Excellence team (GBI), supporting the assigned business unit / region. The role executes competitive intelligence research and analysis and serves as a representative on the assigned Business Unit / Regional Insight team, supporting both the Global Strategic Marketing and Regional Marketing Teams.

• Utilize COGNOS and Tableau reporting software to identify and analyze data supporting key organizational strategies.
• Create integrated analyses from varied data sources.
• Develop and maintain MS Excel and MS Access sourcing databases.
• Support US Marketing and GBI teams with ad‑hoc projects.
• Develop and maintain internal SharePoint data libraries and communication materials.
• With direction, demonstrate an ability to implement competitive insight and analysis projects in support of the assigned business unit / region.
• Synthesize data to form recommendations and actionable insights, influencing multiple stakeholders to ensure high‑level team involvement in key business discussions.
• With direction, support the Business Unit / Regional Insight Team by providing competitive market assessments and scenarios.
• Ensure flawless execution of all projects and activities required to drive success of the business.
• Provide fact‑based insights and analytics programs to address business needs.
• Execute insight and business analytics tools, techniques, and processes.
• Deliver foundational learning that helps ensure understanding of marketplace dynamics.
• Support education and dissemination of existing knowledge and market information for key Business Unit / Region partners.

• Bachelor's degree and 6 months of experience in an analyst or similar role.
• Proficiency with database management tools and presentation of data analysis – COGNOS, Tableau, and business software knowledge is a plus.
• Strong quantitative and analytic abilities to analyze and validate data.
• Excellent computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Access).
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Detail‑oriented, dependable, and motivated.
• Interested in learning new things and comfortable taking the initiative to seek out projects or new areas of responsibility.
• Preferred, but not required, experience in the medical device, hospital specialty, or healthcare field.
• Ability to work in a matrix environment where high collaboration is needed.
