Electrician - 1st Shift

Greenkiss Staffing Solutions is seeking a skilled and experienced Electrician to join our client's team on the 1st shift. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic food production environment with competitive pay and excellent benefits.

Salary: $51.35 /Hr.

Location:

Somerville, MA. Shift: 1st.

The Electrician will maintain and operate the electrical distribution system while providing support for electrical and electronic systems in processing and packaging operations.

• Diagnose and repair issues within the electrical distribution system.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and electronic components on processing and packaging equipment.
• Ensure plant compliance with electrical codes including NEC, NFPA 70E, and OSHA regulations.
• Perform power and control wiring for various projects.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on electrical and electronic equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Act as an expert resource for management on code compliance.
• Research and recommend spare parts for inventory and projects.
• Assist the Quality Assurance department with calibration of key equipment on processing and packaging lines.
• Follow all safety and quality protocols strictly.

• Current Electrician's license required.
• Minimum 5 years experience preferred, especially in a food production environment.
• Basic knowledge of electronic control systems including PLCs.
• Proficient in basic computer skills (MS Word, Outlook).
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs as needed.
