Store Manager in Training – Dollar Tree

• Recruit and hire store associates.
• Co‑train associates in operations and merchandising, offering feedback and coaching.
• Oversee and delegate all store activities to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Maintain compliance with corporate policies and applicable laws.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Implement operational and merchandising direction communicated from headquarters.
• Help the store reach maximum profit contribution.
• Protect company assets.
• Maintain a high level of customer service and a safe, respectful environment.

• Minimum 3 years of retail management experience (hardlines or variety merchandise preferred). BIG BOX experience is a plus.
• Strong productivity management in freight processing.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to work in a high‑energy, team environment.
• Must be able to lift between 30 to 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting demands (reasonable accommodation available as required).
