• Develop and implement coding quality assurance programs to evaluate the accuracy and compliance of medical coding practices.
• Analyze medical records and documentation to assess the adequacy and specificity of coding.
• Deliver coding education and training programs to healthcare professionals to enhance knowledge and accuracy.
• Identify opportunities to streamline coding workflows and improve efficiency.
• Foster effective communication with healthcare providers and billing staff to resolve coding-related issues.

• Associate's Degree in Medical Billing and Coding.
• 5-7 years of medical coding experience.
• Advanced knowledge of medical coding systems, including ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• 1-2 years of quality assurance experience in medical coding.
• Familiarity with coding guidelines set by the AMA and CMS.
• Understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
