The Clinical Operations Manager will work closely with the Director, Clinical Performance Strategy & Support to manage vendor operations and strategic and high‑visibility initiatives within the Clinical department.

Essential Functions
  • Manage vendor relationships for the Clinical department by establishing clear ownership and decision‑making frameworks (e.g., RACI charts) and by developing and implementing processes for monitoring Clinical vendor performance on a recurring basis.
  • Work collaboratively with Clinical teams to ensure vendors meet operational needs; support process improvement activities involving vendors, as needed, and ensure vendors meet regulatory, contractual, and business needs, including supplying required data for reporting in a timely manner.
  • Manage cross‑team, high‑profile clinical strategic initiatives by creating and managing tracking tools to assess progress and risks of clinical initiatives and ensure initiatives are completed on time and within scope and budget.
  • Communicate progress, status, and risks of initiatives to Clinical leadership and cross‑functional stakeholders, as needed/appropriate.
  • Model and promote operational excellence within the department. Work with the Director to design and implement best practices and improvement activities within the department.
Education
  • Bachelor's Degree
Experience
  • At least 3‑5 years of Managed Care, Healthcare Administration, or related field required
  • Familiarity with HEDIS and Health Equity Accreditation experience is highly preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and similar applications
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
Working Conditions
  • This is a hybrid role with occasional team meetings at the office roughly 1x/month
