Bft Medical Assistants Temp

Directs patient to exam room, obtains and records accurate routine patient vital signs, prepares patient for examination, and assists performing procedures, injections and other treatments as ordered by provider.

• Interview patients to obtain medical information and measure their vital signs, weight, and height.
• Show patients to examination rooms and prepare them for the physician.
• Record patients' medical history, vital statistics, or information such as test results in medical records.
• Perform general office duties, such as answering telephones, taking dictation, or completing insurance forms.
• Collect blood, tissue, or other laboratory specimens, log the specimens, and prepare them for testing.
• Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations, keeping the rooms neat, clean and supplies stocked.
• Clean and sterilize instruments and dispose of contaminated supplies.

High School Diploma or Equivalent required

Direct MA experience or medical field work 0-1 year preferred

• Excellent communication skills.
