Summer Programs - Summer : Receptionist; East

Responsibilities

• Screens visitors before allowing access to the school building through operation of the bell intercom system.
• Directs community members, student families, and external partners to specific rooms of academic and activity clubs within a building.
• Answers phones in the main office and transfers calls.
• Makes attendance calls to student families.
• Assists in management of the supplies for the building’s programs.
• General record keeping for the building’s programs including student attendance support and staff sign‑in/sign‑out sheet.
• Assists building leadership with emergency management situations such as fire or lockdown drills.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Rate: $24/hour
• Mandatory Orientation and Professional Development Days:
  May 27 and June 16 (may be changed).

• July 6, 2025 – August 7 or 14, 2026 (depending on program dates)
• 5 days a week, Monday through Friday
• 7:30 am – 1:00 pm, with possible hours until 4:00 pm depending on program.
