Summer Programs - SPELL Elementary​/Middle School: Paraprofessionals, Grades 1-8

Program Goal

Summer Partners for Language and Learning (SPELL) provides Multilingual Learners theme‑based language development experiences in the morning and enrichment activities provided by community partners in the afternoon.

• Experience in Multilingual Learner classrooms
• Ability to collaborate with teachers in the delivery of theme‑based, language and content integrated curriculum aligned to WIDA framework
• Ability to support student learning in small groups and one on one.
• Ability to maintain a safe and healthy environment for students.
• Bilingual/multilingual and ability to communicate with diverse students and families.

  July 6, 2026 - July 31, 2026
• Rate: $25.00 per/hour
• Monday through Friday, 8 am - 1 pm
• SPELL program professional development for all SPELL staff will take place in the last week on June or first week of July.
