Program Goal
:
Summer Partners for Language and Learning (SPELL) provides Multilingual Learners theme-based language development experiences in the morning and enrichment activities provided by community partners in the afternoon.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supervising children in informal and formal settings
- Ability to support children in learning activities
- Ability to supervise children in recreation activities
- Ability to collaborate and function effectively as a team member
- Ability to maintain a safe and healthy environment for children
- Reliable and ability to maintain a schedule
- Bilingual/multilingual and ability to communicate with diverse students and families
Terms of Employment:

- Summer School Program
Schedule:
July 6, 2026 - July 31, 2026 - Rate: $35.00 per hour
- Monday through Friday, 8 am - 1 pm
- SPELL program professional development for all SPELL staff will take place in the last week on June or first week of July.
Disclosure: All positions listed are subject to funding availability and student enrollment; courses may be canceled due to lack of enrollment.
Reports to: MLE Director, SPELL Director and SPELL Assistant Directors
