Summary:
Provides lessons in line both group and private as well as serving as a lifeguard. Monitor recreational areas, such as pools to provide assistance and protection to participants.
- Oversee the aquatic area for 3 aquatic pools and hot tub area.
- Inform the Aquatic Program Manager when supplies are needed or equipment needs repair or replacement.
- Assist Swim Instructors with equipment or issues on deck.
- Ensure participants meet course completion requirements.
- Organize the class environment to ensure individual success.
- Make sure all swim aids and accessories are put away at completion of your shift.
High School Diploma or Equivalent required. Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? Yes.
Licenses and CredentialsCertified Basic Swim Instructor [C-BSI] - Data Conversion - Various Issuers required. Heartsaver CPR AED [CPR] - American Heart Association (AHA) required. Lifeguarding [ARC] - American Red Cross required.
ExperiencePrevious Lifeguard or Swim Instructor experience 1-2 years required.
