Overview

GM and Food (General Merchandise, Closing, Fulfillment, Inbound, Food and Beverage, Food Service, Starbucks) s role supports store operations to ensure product is set, in-stock, accurately priced and signed, and enables efficient pick, pack and ship fulfillment for guests.

Starting Hourly Rate: $16.50 USD per hour

• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests while completing daily tasks.
• Assist guests to solve their needs in a welcoming manner.
• Thank guests and acknowledge their choice to shop at Target.
• Receive products, restock shelves, organize the backroom, arrange merchandise, and set up promotional signs for GM areas.
• Operate power equipment if certified.
• Execute price changes, merchandise set-up and maintenance, and inventory accuracy as directed.
• Learn how operational procedures affect inventory, store profitability, and product availability.
• Be knowledgeable about and utilize store resources, products, and services to solve guest issues.
• Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance; work safely and report hazards.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier and digital fulfillment processes while complying with applicable laws.
• Other duties as needed based on business needs.

• Accurately handle cash register operations as needed.
• Climb ladders and move merchandise (up to 44 pounds) safely.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays; reliable attendance required.
• Occasional exposure to varying temperatures and elements depending on duties (e.g., Drive-Up, carryout).
• Ability to stay mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift.
