Mobile Maintenance Technician

The Role Operating as a mobile technician, you will be responsible for the planned and reactive maintenance of critical facilities. You will ensure that all building services remain operational, safe, and fully compliant.
 
Technical Maintenance:
Deliver essential maintenance for HVAC, electrical systems, UPS, generators, and building control systems.
Fault Response:
Respond promptly to equipment failures to ensure minimal disruption to essential public services.
Compliance & Safety:
Conduct regular inspections and audits, maintaining meticulous records and ensuring all safety standards are met.
Contractor Oversight:
Supervise external contractors on-site to ensure work meets quality and safety benchmarks.
Mobile Operations:
You will manage your workflow across the region, supported by a company van and fuel card.  You

Qualifications:

You must hold your 18th Edition (IEE Wiring Regs) and be electrically biased.

Experience:

Strong background in building services maintenance, specifically with HVAC and mechanical systems.
Vetting:
Due to the nature of the contract, you must be able to pass Security Vetting (NPPV).
Personality:
We need someone who fits into a small, tight-knit team—someone proactive, communicative, and easy to work with.
Desirable:

Salary & Earnings: A base salary of £38,000, with an on-call allowance (1 in 6 rota) that brings your total package up to approximately £40,000.
Tools for the Job: A company van and fuel card are provided (the fleet is currently transitioning to electric vehicles).
Work-Life Balance:
Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with 25 days of annual leave plus Bank Holidays.
