Service Administrator - North Somerset
Join us as a Service Administrator in North Somerset.
Our North Somerset Administration team are seeking an experienced Service Administrator to work in our Weston-Super-Mare office. You will provide comprehensive and efficient administrative support to the wider team. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, where accuracy and attention to detail are essential, and you pride yourself on great organisational skills, have an eye for detail, excellent communication skills, a methodical approach, and a can do attitude, then we would love to hear from you.

You will undertake a full range of administrative duties in accordance with the running of a busy office, so this role is pivotal to the smooth running of our Admin service. This is a full-time role based in Weston-Super-Mare, although you may be asked to visit other sites from time to time to support your colleagues in the wider Administration team.
You will be highly organised, with excellent communication skills, and able to manage your time effectively, working as part of a team to ensure a high-quality service is maintained.
We are part of a large integrated drug and alcohol service working with some of North Somerset's most excluded and disadvantaged people. Successful candidates will work alongside in-house services which include prescribing and clinical, outreach, hospital and adult community and a residential rehabilitation facility.
The role is permanent and full time working 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday, including Wednesday evenings. The salary for this position is £25,000 per annum.

Person SpecificationExperience
- We are looking for someone who is an experienced youth worker but who has additional knowledge of substance misuse or mental health issues affecting young people.
You will be: - Highly organised and practical with proven IT skills
- Be able to engage well with young people
- Be able to work on your own
- Have proven one to one skills with young people
- Experienced in effective partnership working with other agencies
- A good understanding of safeguarding process
- Experience of risk assessment and complex case work
- A full UK driving licence and access to a car. You will need to ensure business use is added to your insurance policy.
- Most importantly a real passion for working with young people to help enable them to reach their potential.
