Soni's client, a growing biotech company, is seeking a Manager of Internal Audit to join their global Internal Audit team. This role manages a team that supports SOX compliance testing and operational audits, collaborating with business stakeholders and external auditors. The ideal candidate combines strong technical acumen with excellent communication and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead SOX compliance and internal audits (financial, operational, compliance, and IT) in alignment with COSO and IIA standards
• Oversee the full audit lifecycle including risk assessment, planning, fieldwork, reporting, and remediation
• Execute risk-based audit plans and evaluate internal control effectiveness
• Partner with business leaders and external auditors to strengthen governance and compliance
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the Internal Audit function

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree required; 7+ years of internal and/or external audit experience
• Strong SOX and operational audit experience required
• Solid knowledge of U.S. GAAP, IFRS, COSO, and IIA standards
• Experience leading engagements and mentoring staff

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

• CPA, CIA, CISA, CISM, and/or CFE preferred
• Pharma, biotech, life sciences, or manufacturing experience preferred
• Data analytics experience; exposure to AI-enabled auditing a plus

Compensation: $125,000-$145,000
Compensation is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other job-related qualifications.
