Duration: 12 Months (Potential for Contract to hire)
Job Description:
- Non managing individual contributor with proven breadth and depth of technical expertise.
- Participates in and oversees the creation and maintenance of complex systems / applications and related systems for application development group.
- Translates assigned work loads into operating processes, priorities and assignments.
- Oversees and/or responsible for the day-to-day administration and maintenance of enterprise applications and environments; the planning, operation, upkeep and maintenance of the infrastructure/applications to run business;
- Oversees and/supports to application development staff; participates/plans for building applications and designing systems for special projects.
- Coordinates with vendors on 3rd party implementations.
- Participates/or ensures engineers utilize common, current development environment.
- Oversees and/or participates in effective methodologies and techniques to integrate components of enterprise applications with third-party products, as well as defining the protocol of how multiple products and languages communicate with each other.
- Lead and mentor technical development teams. Utilizing standards, processes, and best practices put forth by the Enterprise Architecture Team.
- Minimum of 6 years’ experience working as a Software/Application Architect using .NET, C# and ASP.NET.
- Expert in industry standard methodologies.
- Expert in Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
- Expert at Object Oriented Analysis (OOA), Object Oriented Design (OOD), Object Oriented Programming (OOP), workflow, transaction life cycles, component models, and software design patterns.
- In depth experience in Object Oriented Programming with any or all of the following: C++, Java, .NET
- Experience with ASP.NET MVC4, JQuery, JSON, JavaScript, and HTML
5. - Unified Modeling Language (UML) in depth modeling experience.
- In depth experience in the layout and architecture planning for integrating multiple platforms.
- In depth experience with iterative solution development
- Experience with integration of multiple concurrent projects.
- Anticipates and avoids most common problems; solves problems quickly and independently when they arise.
- Has extensive knowledge of architecting component based applications.
- Experience with Ad Sales media software, particularly with the proposal, rate card and deal maintenance modules.
- Experience in the Ad Sales media business, especially television and digital.
