Overview
Position Summary: The Nutritional Services Department includes Food service, services of Registered Dietitians, Expressions Tea and Gifts, and the Outpatient Specialty Clinic as related to RD consults. Oversight is provided by the Director of Nutritional Services. The Registered Dietitians work collaboratively with Therapy Services and other departments to provide individualized nutritional care to the individuals of Oakwood as well as to those seen in the Outpatient Clinic.
All services are provided at the highest standard of professional practice, complying with standards set by both federal and state regulations.
- Collaborate with Therapy Services and other departments to provide individualized nutritional care to individuals in Oakwood and in the Outpatient Clinic.
- Ensure services are provided at the highest standard of professional practice and in compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Registered as a dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration, the credentialing agency for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
- Licensed by the Kentucky Board of Licensure and Certification for Dietitians and Nutritionists.
- Prefer experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities.
- Ability to meet drug screen and background check standards.
