Examines patients with breathing-related conditions. Performs physiotherapy and other treatments under the supervision of the Cardiopulmonary Department Director.

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent. Must be currently enrolled in Respiratory Therapy program.
• Current Ky Student Respiratory Therapy Practitioner License accepted in lieu of education*
• Current Kentucky Student Respiratory Therapy Practitioner License.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire date.
• Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
• Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
