Overview
Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital
Job Summary: Responsible for assuring that medical records are received, identified, scanned, AFI’d and analyzed according to hospital policy and JCHAO/CMS standards. Assists as needed physicians and/or staff members on accessing documents within the electronic health record. Ensures timely processing of the patient record and insure receipt of all encounters within 24 hours of service rendered date.
QualificationsRegulatory Requirements:
- High School graduate or equivalent, minimal.
- Six (6) months of clerical experience required, healthcare experience preferred.
