Role:
Key Account Manager for Switzerland. You will be the link between Kimberly-Clark and key accounts in the country for our Consumer business. You will drive strategic development of key national customers to generate sustainable and profitable growth, define and implement sales development activities aligned with overall strategy, profitability, and local market conditions. You will build trusting customer relationships, leverage category management, and develop joint business plans to identify growth opportunities.

This role reports to the Swiss Commercial Leader and is an individual contributor.

Location:

hybrid model (remote / customer visits / 1 day per week at Solothurn Office) for candidates based in Switzerland.

About You

You will focus on winning with consumers and the market, while placing safety, mutual respect, and human dignity at the center.

Your Key Accountabilities
  • Drive strategic development and growth of key national customers through regular visits and corrective actions when targets deviate.
  • Own P&L, Net Revenue Realization (NRR) and Gross Profit (GP) per key account.
  • Prepare, implement, and follow up on price and condition negotiations, including annual agreements.
  • Develop and maintain 1–3-year Joint Business Plans defining marketing priorities, trade investments and brand growth potential.
  • Monitor market trends, assess risks and opportunities, and identify new potential for continuous profitable growth.
  • Utilize market insights (Distribution, Pricing, Shelving, Merchandising (DPSM), household penetration, consumer metrics) and trend analysis to drive business development.
  • Manage monthly forecasting, trade investments, and Net sales Value (NSV) planning in collaboration with finance, Revenue Growth Management (RGM), marketing and category management.
  • Conduct monthly DPSM/Revenue Growth Management assessments to align priorities and action plans.
Required Qualifications
  • Several years of professional experience in key account management within Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG).
  • Analytical and strategic mindset with solid understanding of revenue and financial metrics.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with internal and external partners.
  • Fluent in Swiss-German and English, spoken and written.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with DPSM metrics and SAP systems.
  • Advanced MS Office skills (Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Degree in business administration or related field.
