Job Function

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations and personnel while achieving performance objectives established by the Operations Manager. This role ensures the safe, efficient, and compliant flow of materials, accurate inventory management, strong team performance, and continuous improvement of warehouse processes.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
  • Coach, counsel, train, and discipline warehouse employees to drive performance and accountability.
  • Review weekly timecards and submit approved hours to payroll.
  • Allocate staffing and resources to meet immediate and long-term operational objectives.
  • Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee all receiving, storage, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory control activities.
  • Ensure all customer requirements, service levels, and quality expectations are consistently met.
  • Strive to minimize warehouse resource waste including payroll hours, inventory loss, damaged product, and inefficient use of space.
  • Participate in ISO and customer audits and ensure full warehouse and personnel audit readiness.
  • Ensure daily tow motor logs are completed and reviewed.
  • Verify that all warehouse tools and equipment are calibrated according to required intervals.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free warehouse environment.
  • Ensure all warehouse assets (trade and expense) are accurately tracked and accounted for.
  • Oversee general building maintenance and coordinate repairs as needed.
  • Maintain accountability for warehouse equipment, tools, and inventory assets.
  • Utilize Net Suite daily to process receipts, shipments, transfers, and inventory adjustments, ensuring accurate and timely system transactions.
Knowledge & Skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to organize, set priorities, and exercise sound judgment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience using Net Suite for inventory, order processing, and reporting.
  • Working knowledge of RF scanner guns and barcode scanning workflows.
  • Experience utilizing tablets and mobile devices for warehouse operations, data entry, and task management.
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a warehouse management or supervisory role.
