Electrical Fitter

To work as part of a dedicated team to build mechanical/electrical systems and equipment from detailed engineering drawings into state-of-the-art automated shellroom systems to our worldwide customer base. Position will be primarily based in Solon, Ohio with travel throughout North America with an emphasis on the United States, Mexico & Canada.

Reporting to Operations Manager

• Construction of electrical systems and equipment following engineering drawings.
• Fault-finding and diagnostics of electrical equipment.
• Ability to work as part of a team but also on own initiative.
• To be able to prioritise and work to given timescales.
• Ability and desire to travel worldwide. (Travel outside North America rarely)
• Installation of systems and equipment at customer locations, worldwide.
• Operate within company procedures
• To ensure quality standards are met
• Demonstrated experience of electrical and mechanical equipment assembly
• Fault-finding and diagnostics of electrical and mechanical equipment, both as part of a team or individually
• Have sound knowledge of electrical and mechanical manufacturing processes
• Ability read and understand mechanical and electrical technical drawings
• Experience in manufacturing and / or industrial automation industry

• Degree or technically qualified to JATC / Apprenticeship in an electrical discipline or equivalent work experience.
• NEC Licence (optional).
