Entry-Level Field Measuring Technician (Digital)

Granex Industries is hiring a Field Measuring Technician (Digital) to support granite, quartz, and stone counter top projects for residential and commercial construction throughout Solon and Northeast Ohio.

This is a field-based position using modern digital and laser measuring technology, including the LT-2D3D Laser Templator and Prodim Proliner, to capture accurate measurements for countertops, stone surfaces, and related installations. No prior counter top or measuring experience is required - paid training provided.

What You'll Do

- Digitally measure granite, quartz, and stone counter top job sites

- Work in residential homes and commercial construction environments

- Use laser templating tools to collect accurate field data

- Upload measurements and notes using a tablet

- Communicate professionally with homeowners, builders, and internal teams

Growth Opportunity

High-performing technicians may have the opportunity to expand into finish CAD work. Selected employees will be trained to use AutoCAD to convert digital measuring data into finished shop tickets for counter top fabrication and production.

(Interest in CAD, drafting, or technical work is a plus - not required.)
