Overview
Sweet Kiddles by Inspire Early Education is seeking an experienced and caring individual to join our team as a Center Director at our new Solon location. The Center Director will be required to perform other duties as needed to maintain the Center at an optimal level for all children, their families and all staff.

- Staff Interview and hire excellent staff. Provide appropriate orientation and training.
- Staff Supervise staff on an on-going basis, including the development of work plans.
- Staff Inform staff of licensure requirements and policy changes through regular staff meetings.
- Staff Develop staff professionally; provide periodic reviews, determine development needs, locate appropriate training opportunities and make accommodations for staff to attend.
- Staff Schedule to maintain an efficient number of staff to meet the center’s needs.
- Staff Provide support to staff and maintain employee confidentiality.
- Staff Maintain current and accurate staff records (including all Ohio licensing required components).
- Children/Families Ensure the center provides top-tier customer service and all customers have an excellent experience.
- Children/Families Complete enrollment information (including applications, immunization and allergy records).
- Children/Families Ensure children’s records are current and accurate (includes all Ohio licensing required components).
- Children/Families Ensure center meets all Ohio licensing requirements, including health and safety, learning environment, nutrition and food preparation, physical safety and well-being, and staff ratios.
- Children/Families Establish and execute policies and procedures to ensure the well-being of children, such as developmentally appropriate curriculum and positive behavior management plans.
- Children/Families Safe arrival and departure; establish relationships with individual children and families and respond to their needs.
- Children/Families Provide care in classrooms as needed to meet safety and licensing regulations.
- Children/Families Report evidence of suspected abuse/neglect to Children’s Services.
- Center Operation Maintain the facility in accordance with Ohio licensing standards.
- Center Operation Maintain center records (emergency drills; building, fire and sanitation inspections).
- Center Operation Develop and update personnel and operational procedures.
- Center Operation Ensure effective transactions and fee collection at check-in and check-out.
- Center Operation Oversee orders of appropriate center supplies for provision of care (food, gloves, toiletries, etc).
- Center Operation Approve and order materials and supplies for classroom programs and activities.
- Center Operation Represent the center in the community, oversee center-specific marketing activities and act as a liaison with other agencies.
- Center Operation Establish and maintain a healthy, safe and fun working environment.
- Center Operation Attend annual center day, weekly/quarterly/annual offsites, and annual SK conference.
- Proven experience with Directors’ Credentials as a Child Care Director, Assistant Director, or in a similar leadership role within a child care or early childhood education setting.
- Strong understanding of child development, curriculum planning, and educational best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and support a diverse team.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with families, staff, and the community.
- Experience in business development, marketing, and growing enrollment is a plus.
- Knowledge of licensing requirements, health and safety regulations, and other relevant policies.
- A degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively.
- A criminal reference check and verification of medical suitability will be required as specified in Licensing Regulations.
