Part-Time Temporary Accounting Specialist

CBG has an immediate opening for a Part-time, temporary Accounting Specialist. This position requires accounting theory knowledge, bookkeeping skills, knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and computer proficiency. You will process receivables/payables, account reconciliations, commissions and other responsibilities to support the CBG team and our customers.

• Manage the Accounts Receivable function, including, but not limited to invoicing, reconciliation, posting deposits, collections, account liaison
• Manage the Accounts Payable function including, but not limited to invoice entry, Purchase Order review, reconciliation and vendor payment
• Reconcile accounting discrepancies by evaluating relevant account information
• Generate and submit applicable journal entries for approval
• Reconcile monthly statements and transactions to support ledgers and accounting records
• File various monthly, quarterly tax returns as required
• Compute monthly and quarterly sales commissions
• Reconcile company credit cards, expense reports and other expenditures
• Review, analyze and adjust financial data/information to generate Financial Statements that depict CBG's current financial status
• Generate accurate Financial Statements for submission to CBG Biotech management team.
• Cross train in Customer Service and Sales Order entry
• Supporting general office tasks (order supplies, facility management, receptionist back-up)

• Associates degree in Accounting + 3 years Bookkeeping/Accounting experience
• Skillful verbal and written communication skills
• Confidence, self-motivation and determination to succeed
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite programs - Outlook, Word, Excel programs
• Familiarity with Net Suite ERP System a plus
