About the Role

Ignis Fire & Security, part of the Ranger Group, are expanding and looking for an experienced Installation & Remedial Engineer to join our Birmingham-based team. You’ll cover the West Midlands, working on a wide range of fire and security systems for a well-established customer base.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll manage your own workload, deliver remedial works to a high standard, and ensure customers receive a first-class service.

What You’ll Be Doing

* Completing remedial works on Fire & Security systems within set time frames

* Liaising with customers to schedule work and provide updates

* Installing/maintaining Fire Alarm systems, Emergency Lighting, and basic Security equipment

* Working both independently and as part of a skilled engineering team

What We’re Looking For

* Strong experience with Analogue Addressable & Conventional Fire Alarm systems

* Working knowledge of Emergency Lighting maintenance/repairs

* Basic understanding of Intruder Alarms, Access Control, Nurse Call, Disabled Refuge

* Confident, professional, and customer-focused

* Self-motivated with good teamwork skills

* Driving licence + CSCS/ECS card

* FIA qualifications (desirable but not essential)
