We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Year 2 Teacher (QTS) to join a supportive and welcoming primary school in B36. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate practitioner to inspire and challenge pupils in Key Stage 1, helping them reach their full potential.

The Role

Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons in line with the Year 2 curriculum

Support pupils’ learning across all subjects, with a focus on literacy and numeracy

Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners, including those with SEN

Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment

Work collaboratively with colleagues, teaching assistants, and senior leaders

Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and carers

Uphold safeguarding, behaviour, and school policies

The Ideal Candidate

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Experience teaching Year 2 / KS1 pupils in a UK primary school

Strong understanding of the curriculum and assessment requirements

Excellent classroom management and differentiation skills

Patient, adaptable, and passionate about child-centred learning

Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
