About the Role:

We are currently seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Solihull on a fixed-term basis to cover a sabbatical period. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established business with a strong pipeline of projects and a supportive commercial team.

The successful candidate will play a key role in managing the financial and contractual aspects of construction projects from start to final account.

Key Responsibilities:

* Managing project costs from inception through to completion

* Preparing and reviewing subcontractor packages and payments

* Producing valuations, variations, and final accounts

* Cost reporting and forecasting

* Liaising with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams

* Ensuring projects are delivered within budget and contractual obligations

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry

* Strong knowledge of JCT contracts

* Excellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills

* Ability to manage multiple projects effectively

* Degree qualified (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying or related field (preferred)

* Full UK driving licence (if site travel required)
